FONDA--Thanks to the help of county employees, Montgomery County Clerk Brittany Kolbe was able to deliver dozens of packages to the Montgomery County Office for Aging just in time for Christmas.
These packages however, were not to fill up stockings hanging along the mantle, but boxes of non-perishable food items to fill up the Cupboard of Kindness food pantry which helps seniors in need.
Throughout the month of December, county employees dropped off non-perishable food donations in a box outside of the Clerk's Office.
"To receive so much support, during this year especially, is a true testament to the type of community we live in," Kolbe said. "I'm overjoyed that we are able to assist Montgomery County's senior population right before the holiday weekend."
