ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA, August 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- With Africa Safari Serengeti Ndutu and Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende, the company is expanding its safari portfolio and establishing new locations along the Great Migration route.

With the official opening of Africa Safari Serengeti Ndutu and Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende, Beach & Safari Holidays is expanding its safari portfolio to 11 lodges and camps in Tanzania. The two new premium accommodation options are situated in two of the Serengeti’s most significant wildlife regions and offer guests the ideal conditions to experience the Great Migration at different times of the year, from the calving season in the south to the spectacular Mara River crossings in the north. At the same time, both regions are among the most wildlife-rich areas in the Serengeti and offer exceptional safari experiences with a wide variety of wildlife sightings year-round.

Africa Safari Serengeti Ndutu opened on 15 June 2026 and offers direct views of Lake Ndutu, whose shores are regularly lined with pink flamingos. Just 31 kilometres from the border between the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the lodge is an ideal base for witnessing the calving season of the Great Migration. Between December and March, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest gather here to give birth to their calves.

Wetlands, marshes and natural springs provide a year-round supply of water. They ensure a water source for wildlife and create fresh grazing grounds that attract large herds of animals at certain times of the year. As a result, the region is not only an exceptional destination during the calving season of the Great Migration, but also offers excellent opportunities to experience the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife all year round. It is especially renowned for the year-round presence of six African cat species, making it one of the best places in the Serengeti to experience predators in their natural habitat.

Just one month later, on 15 July 2026, Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende opened its doors. The premium lodge is situated south of the Mara River in the north of the Serengeti National Park, and is only around 26 kilometres from Kogatende Airstrip. Thanks to its location within the Great Migration corridor, it offers excellent conditions for experiencing the famous river crossings between July and October.

However, Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende is far more than just a base for the Great Migration. The region is one of the most wildlife-rich areas in the Serengeti all year round and offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. Shortly after the opening, Beach & Safari Holidays welcomed its first guests to Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende. The initial feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

"We had a fantastic day yesterday. We witnessed the migration; it was spectacular. We were also the first guests at Kogatende. It's a beautiful spot – it was so lovely to be there. We received a very warm welcome, and the people are really helpful and friendly." – First guest at Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende

With the opening of these two new lodges, Beach & Safari Holidays aims to further expand its safari offering and provide travellers with a comprehensive travel experience from a single provider, from travel planning and transfers to experienced safari guides, accommodation and safari activities. The new locations have been specifically developed in two of the Serengeti’s most significant wildlife regions to give guests even better access to extraordinary nature experiences such as the calving season and the Mara River crossings.

“With Africa Safari Serengeti Ndutu and Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende, we are investing not only in new accommodation, but also in experiences. Our objective is to allow our guests to experience the Serengeti even more intensely, at two locations that are among Tanzania’s most fascinating wildlife regions. At the same time, this strengthens our ability to offer our guests their entire safari journey from a single source.” – Bert Schoonvelde, founder of Beach & Safari Holidays
